Our Journey Into A Papyrus Swamp Begins Here

Caution: Crocodiles are often present along the swamp edges looking for birds and slow-footed creatures. So step lively and keep an eye out!  

Shoebills with their hooked bill may also be present but they are not as aggressive.

When traveling in the swamp be careful to step on the mat of plant material - remember underneath there is water and wet peat - the swamp floats, you may sink and never be seen again!
